PROFILE....IN BRIEF!!
I trained as a teacher and taught for 23 years in primary and secondary education, rising to the position of Deputy Headteacher in 1996.
In 2000 I took early retirement and this allowed me to pursue my passions i.e. cars, motorsport, and writing. I started writing for Classic Cars Monthly in 2000, Classics magazine in 2001, Which Kit Car in 2002 and the Internet magazine totalkitcar in 2004. In 2004 I began working for the newly launched Track and Race Cars. In addition to being this magazine's Historic Correspondent, I also wrote other major features on a regular basis. During the past 2 years I have written for Practical Classics and Mini Magazine. In December 2005, I started writing for Retro Ford magazine, which was launched in March 2006.
In addition to my magazine work, I've written two motoring books and am currently in the throes of writing my third.
